Description
Ripstop nylon tent fabric. Lightweight. With silicone elastomer coating. White.
This special, ultra light, ripstop nylon fabric, has two distinguishing characteristics:
- Ripstop weave construction. Extra squares, woven INTO the nylon fabric. This gives more tenacity to the woven fabric.
- Elastomer coating. This is a special and durable finish.
Technical characteristics of this ultra light ripstop nylon tent fabric:
Silicone elastomer coated onto both sides of a dyed nylon substrate. The base fabric is a nominal 52 by 49 threads/cm ripstop weave high tenacity nylon 6.6, classed as a 1.0oz/sq yard(37 gsm) fabric.

Applications ripstop nylon fabric
Ripstop nylon fabric is used for many applications. Some examples: tents, parasails, kites, parachutes, balloons, flags, clothing, camping, et cetera.
