High-end ripstop nylon fabric. With special elastomer coating. For extra durability
Lightweight Carrington ripstop nylon tent fabric, nylon ripstop or polyester tent fabric. The silicone elastomer coating of the nylon tent fabric cloth (3-layers) or polyurethane coating of the polyester tent fabric ensures waterproof properties, including ultraviolet stability. Nylon tent fabric is mainly used for tents or tarps, which have to be broken down rapidly after a one night stay. The lifetime is less than our (lightweight) cotton tent fabric(Ten Cate Tent Fabrics)
Carrington ripstop nylon has stronger properties
Carrington nylon tent fabric is a high-end ripstop nylon fabric. The elastomer coating stands for
- extreme high u.v.-resistance
- more strength
- better waterproof characteristics
- a far longer life time
especially regarding the tensile strength and tear resistance (values of 6.6. on a ripstop-distance of approx. 4 mm).
