Your privacy is of the utmost importance to ESVO Campingshop B.V.. We therefore comply with the European privacy law(effective from 25th May 2018). This means that your data is safe with us and that we always use it properly. In this privacy statement we explain what we do at the ESVO Campingshop B.V. webshop with all the information we learn about you.

Use of personal data
When using our webshop we get the following information about you:
- Your name and address
- Phone number
- Invoice address
- Email address
- Payment details
The law calls this "personal data" and states that we may only use it if we explain exactly why and for what reason. You can read about this below.
We do NOT give your personal data to other companies or agencies, except if this is necessary for the online store or if the law requires it. An example of this is that we are allowed to report suspected fraud to the police.
Your credit card details will NOT be stored or stored. They are only used to effect the transaction. You shop at ESVO Campingshop B.V. in a secure environment; your data will be encrypted via a special connection and sent to your credit card company, which will then approve or reject your payment.
Your account
You must first register for certain parts of our webshop. You will then need to enter information about yourself and choose a username. With this we create an account, where you can log in with your user name and a password of your choice. We store this information so that you do not have to fill it in over and over again and so that we can contact you more easily if necessary at the webshop.
We will retain this information for as long as your account exists. You can customize information whenever you want through your account.
Portal access
Our portal gives you access to a management environment where you can set up, specify and change things for the webshop yourself. We keep a record of what you have done and when, so that there is evidence of it.
We store this information for as long as you are a customer with us, and for six months thereafter. This is necessary for our business operations and in order to be able to deal with complaints. Some information is kept longer because it has to be kept by law. For example, we must keep proof of your purchase and invoice from the Tax and Customs Administration for seven years.
Handling your order
When you place an order with us, we use your personal data in order to be able to handle it properly. We may then give your personal data to our delivery service in order to have the order delivered to you. We also receive information about your payment from your bank or credit card company.
We will retain this information for as long as is necessary to process the order, and then until the warranty expires. Some information is kept longer because it has to be kept by law. For example, we must keep proof of your purchase and invoice from the Tax and Customs Administration for seven years.
Contact form and newsletter
You can use the contact form to ask us questions or to make requests. You will need to fill in certain information. We will keep it until we are sure that you are satisfied with our response and for six months thereafter. This makes it easy for us to access information on follow-up questions. It also allows us to train our customer service to become even better.
You can subscribe to our newsletter. It contains news, tips and information about our products and services. You can cancel this subscription at any time. Each newsletter contains an unsubscribe link. You can also pass this on via your account. You can also pass this on via the portal.
Your e-mail address will only be added to the list of subscribers with your permission.
Location data
Sometimes it is necessary for our webshop ESVO Campingshop B.V. to find out where you are. We ask separately if we can know this and only if you give your consent will we receive this information.
For this service, we use the navigation and location software on your phone or computer. We have no control over what the creators of this software (such as Google Maps) do with it. Always read their privacy statements as well.
Provision to other firms
We only give your personal data to other companies or institutions if this is necessary for our webshop or if we are legally obliged to do so (for example, if the police demand this in case of suspicion of a crime).
We work together with certain companies. These partners may therefore receive your personal data. This is necessary in order to be able to deliver to you what you have bought.
Cookies
Our webshop uses cookies. Cookies are small files in which we can store information so that you do not have to fill them in all the time. But we can also see that you are visiting us again.
When you visit our webshop for the first time, we will show you a message with an explanation about cookies. If you continue to use our webshop, we will assume that you have no objection to the cookies.
You can disable the placing of cookies via your browser, but some things in our webshop will no longer work properly.
We have made agreements with other companies that place cookies about the use of cookies. However, we do not have full control over what they do with cookies themselves. Please also read their privacy statements.
Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to track how visitors use our service. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. We have no influence on this.
We have the information that Google collects anonymised as much as possible. Your IP address is emphatically not given. The information is transferred to and stored on servers by Google.
Security
The security of personal data is of great importance to us. To protect your privacy, we take the following measures:
Access to personal data is protected by a user name and password.
The data is stored in a separate, protected system after reception.
We use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), which protects all information between you and our website when you enter your personal data.
We keep logs of all requests for personal data

Changes to this privacy statement
When our webshop changes, we must of course also change the privacy statement. Always pay attention to the date above and check regularly to see if there are any new versions. We will do our best to announce changes separately as well.

Of course, you also have the right to contact the supervisory authority responsible for you, the respective state office for data protection supervision.
If you wish to assert any of the above rights against us, please contact our data protection officer. In case of doubt, we may request additional information to confirm your identity.
Am I obliged to provide data?
The processing of your data is necessary to conclude or fulfil your contract with us. If you do not provide us with this information, we will usually have to refuse to enter into the contract or will no longer be able to execute an existing contract and will therefore have to terminate it. However, you are not obliged to give your consent to the processing of data that is not relevant or legally required for the fulfilment of the contract.
