Esvo Canvas Protect is a highly effective tent impregnating agent, but in practice much more: for cotton, the polyester/cotton mix, linen, uncoated canvas, acrylic and polyester. It penetrates deep into the dry fabric fibres and restores the lost water and dirt-repellent effect to the factory level. The liquid is easy to apply and is immediately ready for use. The fabric remains breathable even after treatment.
Depending on the weight of the fabric, 35-40 m² of cotton fabric or 40-50 m² of synthetic fabric can be made water repellent again with this 5-litre canister.
Read the instructions for use carefully before use.
This tent waterproofing agent is ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY: PFAS-free, water-based, contains no propellants or chlorine. The surfactant(s) in this water-based product fulfill the criteria for bio-degradability.
made of cotton (also washed cotton), polyester/cotton, linen, uncoated canvas, polyester and acrylic.
This waterproofer is therefore NOT only suitable for impregnating or waterproofing tents!
Remove dust and dirt with a soft brush or rinse with plenty of water. The tent or tarpaulin should be bone dry before treatment. Shake the liquid first, do not dilute. Wear safety goggles and disposable gloves for safety. See recommendations below.
Apply with a sponge, brush, paint roller or plant sprayer. Treat the tent or other surface in sections. Do not soak the dry cloth completely. Applying two thin coats is not harmful. For a tent: If the impregnating agent has got onto the tent windows, wipe it off immediately with a soft cloth and soapy water. Always impregnate the entire tent, preferably in one go. This avoids possible colour differences after impregnation, as the treatment can darken the fabric slightly. If seams are leaking, we always have an additional special seam sealer. Allow the treated fabric to dry for at least 24 hours, preferably in the wind but not in direct sunlight.
This waterproofer for tents can be fatal if swallowed via the respiratory tract. Wear safety goggles due to the risk of eye irritation. Wear (disposable) gloves due to the risk of skin irritation. Long-term or repeated exposure may cause organ damage. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flames or hot surfaces. If swallowed: seek medical attention immediately. In case of fire: Extinguish with water spray, foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide (CO2). Store in a tightly closed container in a cool, well-ventilated place. Avoid discharge into the environment.
